Data Action Lab for Emerging Societies studies social behavior, especially in elections, from an academic viewpoint. DALES aims to provide advanced analysis on political and social issues, focusing on citizens' views on welfare, gender, caste/religion, democracy, and policies. For example, we examine how government welfare programs shape citizenship and claims in society. We also explore how political engagement and welfare impact the opinions of program beneficiaries. Furthermore, we analyze significant social and institutional transformations in the nation.
